Reading the news, hearing reports sometimes make me depress and feel Malaysia is really going down the drain. But I have hope in our LORD, there is hope in prayers.
On this National Day when we celebrate the Independence of our Country, I pray that
- We will have a good, upright and just government free of corruption. A government who would rule this country for the good of all the people. May our leaders be truthful and have integrity. May they have wisdom and knowledge to govern our country.
- Our judicial department and the police department will be clean and upright. That there is justice in Malaysia. When the common folks have been wronged, there is a place for them to seek justice.
- We have a good strong team of Educators in the Ministry of Education who would serve the country with the good of our next generation in mind. May they make curriculum to raise up a wholesome generation, knowledgeable yet with good characters. May there be no more flip-flop policies and may the minstry be free of self seeking politicians and politics.
- Our government will come up with and be able to implement right policies to save the economy of Malaysia.
- All races in Malaysia will live together in harmony. May all voices of extremism be silenced and the people be wise not to be lead astray by such voices.
- All people will have the freedom of worship.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
